Inspired by Faith: Gifts and Bible Verses

There are many ways to express our faith in something greater than ourselves. My favorite ways include sharing bible verses and wearing symbols. Whether it be on my bracelet that day or on my key chain, I love wearing symbols of faith to set my intention for the day and remind me to center myself whenever I look down at them.

Lately, I have been struggling with patience. I have a difficult time accepting situations that are out of my control and having enough faith to let them unfold as they must. For this reason, I was blessed to have come across the following passage:

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the sun.

A time to be born and a time to die,

A time to plant and a time to uproot,

A time to kill and a time to heal,

A time to tear down and a time to build,

A time to weep and a time to laugh,

A time to mourn and a time to dance,

A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

A time to search and a time to give up,

A time to keep and a time to throw away,

A time to tear and a time to mend,

A time to be silent and a time to speak,

A time to love and a time to hate,

A time for war and a time for peace.

Also in Ecclesiastes is another passage I have come to love:

Ecclesiastes 8:5-6

Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure. For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.

Lastly, I have a quote to share which is not a bible passage, but coincides well with the above passages.
